Paranoid Android
Going to any of the shows tomorrow or Wednesday? I'm not sure I'll make it to anything before the first of the main days on Thursday.
Skacel
What's the weather like in barca? Do I need to pack shorts?
colb
Dunno about tomorrow - i'd like to see what Antibalas are all about, depends how long it takes to get to the hotel at rush hour. There's a heap of good stuff on Wednesday but it's all over the place - Paus and Shellac at BARTS would be my choice but Brian Jonestown Massacre are playing the Apolo and they're usually good fun. We'll definitely go and pick up wristbands tomorrow or Weds - the queue on Thursday will be mental.
Paranoid Android
BARTS and Apolo are just across the street from each other and I don't think their programmes overlap. At least not by much. Weather wise, it will likely be warm enough for shorts during the day but probably not at night. There's a good chance there'll be some rain too so best be prepared..
kirsten
AFF WORK FOR TWO WEEKS! Barcelona tomorrow. Preparation for Superchunk on Thursday and Friday.
Paranoid Android
Starting to feel proper excited now. Going to pick up my wristband tomorrow. Listening to St Vincent right now, she'll likely be the first act I see on Thursday.
colb
Not Future Islands?
Paranoid Android
Yeah, I don't know. It's one of the tougher choices I have to make. I've liked St Vincent for years and only recently got into future islands but on the other hand of their new albums I've listened to future islands a lot more. kirsten
We saw Real Estate (dull), Girl Band (good), St Vincent (phenomenal), QOTSA (awright), Shellac (yas), Arcade Fire (fine rare) and Metronomy (affa good). I can't do this staying up til 5am thing though. I dunno how I managed last time. I spent most of Metronomy's set wondering how people were able to stand. Does anyone know anything about the shuttle buses? Where they stop, etc?
Paranoid Android
I think the shuttle bus is just between the site and placa catalunya. I've never used it though so could be speaking shite. My mate left about 4.30 last night and said there was a massive crowd waiting for it. No one should go home early tonight. Laurent Garnier 4 to close will be amazing. Skacel
There is some serious potential for international stalks here, if only I knew what any of you looked like.
Paranoid Android
That's me in my avatar. I have to leave for work in a few hours. I got some cover so I only have 3 hours to do but right now it feels like the worst thing I've ever had to do. This is why I should have gone home after Metronomy and not stayed for Jamie xx

colb
Everything on the Ray Ban stage sounded like Jazz Funk Wank as I walked past. It's the nicest place to sit though.Tonight's gonna be a late one - lots of good stuff on. Also thunderstorms....
Skacel
Just noticed the pizza underground are playing tomorrow, which is Macauly Culkin's band. Apparently a pizza themed velvet underground cover band...

Skacel
Twilight sad, pixies and the national for me yesterday with bits and pieces in between. Went down to watch Jesu but left after 10 mins. Wasn't in the mood for it.Highlight, seeing Justin Vernon playing slow show with the national.
