I bought their albums religiously but after they kind of broke up in the mid-00's I kind of lost sight of them and have persistently failed to keep track of them. So i just bought the last 2 albums plus the box set of film music they did for Clair Denis, which i was aware of but have been waiting to catch at a decent price since i owned the individual releases of 'Nenette Et Boni' and 'Trouble Every Day' already. It's just a bunch of Londoners singing about agriculture and dressing like farmers from Heartbeat.Codeine are fucking glorious.All the sad. codeine are great but mumford and sons are to die for.
