fatboy
no have them so they are all aligned with each other straight up and down on the 25.5 inch point leaving enough for a few millimeters for adjustment on either side.

Soda Jerk
Bah. Doesn't show him do the drilling. I've got a shot of a drill anyway, so I'll give it a go this weekend. I've lined the new bridge up and got the saddles wound back halfway at 25.5in. The comments on that video mention the measurement being 25.75in... fatboy
that is wrong, the proper scale length for a Fender Telecaster is 25.5 inches or 64.8cm
PeteBuchan
The scale length is 25.5 inches. However, in the video, when he mentions 25.75 inches, he's referring to where the mounting holes for his particular bridge need to be.
Soda Jerk
Manliness prevails. It's on. Grunt. (Spoilered, because my phone made it MASSIVE MAN-SIZED) I didn't even use a drill. I just punched the holes into the wood with my fists whilst the missus did the WASHING UP. Motorbikes and lager. Or something. For serious though, the intonation is now 1,000 times better than it was. Chords high up the fretboard totally sing. Phwoar.
