Andy APA
Two great up and coming Scottish bands visit The Lemon Tree this August. Three Blind Wolves and Washington Irving head out on a joint headline tour and take in Aberdeen as part of this. Three Blind Wolves have had a great year having released their debut album Sing Hallelujah for the Old Machine, toured with Frightened Rabbit (anyone who was at the Music Hall will have witnessed how good they were!) and Wintersleep and have secured festival gigs at T in the Park, The Wickerman and Belladrum. Well worth it for the harmonies alone. Having also toured with Frightened Rabbit and released debut album Palomides: Volume 1, Washington Irving are a band certainly on the up. Drawing influences from Arcade Fire, Nick Cave, REM, Talking Heads and Belle and Sebastian they will be touring through the summer and also have several festival dates. https://soundcloud.com/washirvband/wandering-wits A top chance to get out and see some of the best bands Scotland has to offer.
