I do not know why everyone is having problems with amp repairs -we have been repairing amps in Aberdeen for over 20 years and are approved by many major manufacturers -valve and vintage amps are a speciality along with pa systems and mixing desks you can contact us on 01224-744585 or 07702996871  e-mail keyboardscot9@gmail.com

I think the fact I've been a musician in Aberdeen for 16 years and never heard of your company speaks volumes. You might want to look at your advertising to see if you're hitting your target market. I also don't know anyone who's used your services during that time, so i can't even go on "word of mouth" as a reference for your work.

What manufacturers are you approved by? Do you have a website?

Not trying to be a dick here but it's difficult to find a service when the provider doesn't seem to be actively doing anything to raise awareness of their presence...

These are Alan Morrison's details, he is based in Kingswells.  I believe he is one of the only keyboard repair specialists in Scotland.  I'm booking in my Fender Rhodes for a service with him.

Collected a couple of amps from Dennis today- and asked him if the Aberdeen Music forum rumour was true...... that he was winding down.

Relax.... he's still going strong and has no intention of giving it up.

He did mention that he no longer works on keyboards or solid state amps.  Judging by the amount of classic, tube driven hardware scattered around his workshop, I doubt he needs the aggravation of an MG15 or Cube.

Yes, a local guy is/would be handy- but Dennis is the Daddy....... and his work is worth the geographical trouble.

This forum makes up less than 1% of Aberdeen. I've heard of the company before, but never had the need to use them, i know people who have. Just because a few posters have not heard of them, doesnt mean everyone else is the same.

Very happy.

Well that's great but I've never seen you mention them before in the multitude of "amp repairs" threads on here over the years.

So how do i find out about this lot if they don't advertise and nobody talks about them or mentions them? It's not fucking Fight Club. I'd quite likely have used their services several times by now over the years if i'd known they'd existed so they've missed out on my money so far and if i'm not the only one then after they've added the value of those potential customers, that's quite a bit of missed money there.

Just seems like an odd business model to me, stifling business growth because they're "too busy".

Folks are always complaining about having to travel to Dennis Marshall, would've been good to know that this lot were on my doorstep.

calm down yous two. Dennis Marshall is a highly recommended guy people have used him for years. I agree with alkaine its weird that this company has been around for years and giving there's hundreds if not thousands of people on this site. how does no one recommend them on the many repair posts. apart from milner of course. i would happily of used their services too but fortunately my amps have never broke down.
