In the first of a regular series of shows, aiming to create a stronger link between Student Radio and the local music scene, Aberdeen Student Radio proudly presents...

MARIONETTES

Releasing their new single 'Teaparties' digitally on the 4th of February, and on lovely vinyl 7" a couple of weeks later, the Aberdeen quintet bring their own brand of indie-pop to Cellar. This is the Aberdeen leg of their UK-wide tour and, after a packed out Christmas show, this is bound to be steerin'.

...or pre-order the 'Teaparties' 7" here : http://marionettes.bigcartel.com/

HJEARTS

With members of Forest Fires and ex-members of Edgar Prais, Hjearts blast out short and sweet fuzz-pop gems. I can guarantee that if you click this link, there will be at least one hook that you cannot get out of your head.

SUBURBAN SAINTS

Introspective lyrics and soaring guitar melodies characterize Suburban Saint's tracks. New video released just at the time of writing, surely ones to keep an eye on in the future as, like the whole lineup, they know how to write a tune.

TOM

It is absolutely fucking staggering to me, one of the great injustices of the 21st century (in a roundabout sense), that this guy is not bigger than he is. Ranging from beautiful ethereal electronica to out and out electro-pop bangers, his tracks are stunning. Stream or D/L them all here:

Listen out to www.aberdeenstudentradio.com for interviews with the bands and ticket giveaways.

£4. Tickets available from the bands (once I get them printed up) or at the door. But head down early 'cos it should be a busy one.
