SEEKING BANDS FOR BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Saturday 27th April 2013 7pm@ Inchgarth community centre

We are seeking a variation of bands for our charity fund raising battle of the bands event next year. The purpose of the event is to bring music lovers together, young and old, performing covers or their own music with the winners receiving £500 and one nights free rehearsal for a year in our new fully equiped music room. The runners up with win a years free rehearsal.

The event will take place in our main hall which has a stage and a capacity of 400 of which we intend on filling. Apart from having a great social event to attend, which will give your band considerable publicity, you will be assisting us to raise money for disabled people, children and pensioners.

There will be a licenced bar and food.

We are looking for 8-bands and a wide variation of genres to suit all tastes.

There will be a panel of judges from business, Northsound and indeed community to judge the winners. Each band will perform for 20 minutes with the event running from 7pm-12/1.

One nights free rehearsal for a year? Would that be one night a week, you mean? And the same for the runners up? By runners up, you mean just second place? Or everyone who enters?
