Paranoid Android
The new album from The Knife is by far my favourite thing of the year so far. Just gets better with each listen, amazing stuff.

Woodsinho
Rival Schools released a new album today. I say 'new' but it seems to be a proper release of their scrapped follow up to United By Fate. HECK YES.

Woodsinho
Got that Rival Schools album on at the moment. I've had the sketchy sounding demo versions of these songs for many years so it's great to hear them in something that could be considered a completed state. Super songs. Soda Jerk
It's grand. Glad these songs have finally been released. Walter has a habit of scrapping full records. There's an unreleased Quicksand album kicking about, some of which ended up on the first Rival Schools record. They still never released Hostage Calm from that set of recordings though. That is probably my favourite song he did.

Exciting.I see they are touring this year but they seem to have forgotten about Scotland. There is a date in Amsterdam that looks tempting though. girl anachronism
The new Retribution Gospel Choir one is currently floating my boat. 40 minutes, two tracks and a rather pleasing dichotomy at that.

It's a pretty good interview, giving insight into how a band works through having different ideas of how an album should sound and how members should perform their parts. Woodsinho
The new Dillinger Escape Plan album snuck up on me. It's good. DAMN GOOD. Interested in that new Fuck Buttons album too - haven't heard anything new from them in aaaages (it's possible that something's come out that I've missed in which case point me to it plskthxbye) Can't remember if I've posted this already or not (I don't care if I have, it's worth a repost) but this song from the upcoming Dinosaur Pile-Up is a triumphant slice of pop-rock. Crazy excited about their new album and the fact that they're playing at The Tunnels at the start of July.
