kevyrob
Hi all I have a squier mik 1994 strat that I'm selling however I'd keep it if I could get new pickups for it. I'm looking for a 60s strat sound. Could anyone point me in the right direction for what type of pickups to get and also if anyone can fit them when I get them for a small fee lol could u let me know. Cheers. Flaneur
Axes 'r' Us and Axetec sell pretty good stuff, quite cheap.

Flaneur
Nae probs You might consider the pre-wired scratchplate options, if you are a stranger to soldering. Good marketing and good value- Instant Upgrade!
kevyrob
Yeah thanks just looked at ironstone 60s style pick ups on the scratchplate with the pots etc. I just wondered if it would fit the mik squier though. I mainly play Retro 60s 70s style music and having played a lot of hollow bodied guitars kinda just like the clean sounds from a strat. Thanks for your help, I'm useless when it comes to ins and outs of guitars just like playing them!
