To showcase and celebrate the wealth of musical talent we have in the north east we’re pleased to announce our first all day music open day with The Lemon Tree, One Up, Imported Instruments and Brewdog. A series of acoustic and full band instores with a gig at The Lemon Tree in the evening will see bands, singer/songwriters and DJs provide the entertainment. Furthermore, MusicPlus will be running workshops at Imported Instruments to offer advice to young and experienced musicians alike on subjects such as the importance of PRS and Musicians Union, how to get your music on itunes, Amazon and practical talks such as soundchecking and lighting.

Already signed up to play are Stanley, Indian Red Lopez, Marionettes and Velvet Audio with many more to be announced in the coming days and weeks. Shows through the day will be free to attend with a £5 entry fee to The Lemon Tree gig. Full details of line up and tickets will be announced here along with our website and Facebook pages. Watch this space!
