'A treat for all Hardcore listeners. Simply one of the best English bands around that could take out a lot of American Hardcore acts. Truly spellbinding stuff....'

review of EP...... all seventeen minutes of the music spread across three tracks is an absolute joy to behold. The whole episode feels like some type of joyous car crash as it veers across the road scaring you witless as the onslaught comes and goes with some ingenious arrangements and vocal tracks. Its hardcore punk but not as we know it kids. Opening track Ornine Utopia is possibly the best of the three as it incorporates everything from an electronic opening before moments of brutal noise are blended into the serene tranquillity of laid-back silence. It sweeps along seamlessly and bodes more than well for the future. Arriving + Leaving is similar and dares to include a drum solo at the end, while final track Black Biro Lines on her Thigh compounds it all by including an extremely funky jazz section in the middle before ending it on the kind of dank dankness that any metal band would wet their flowing locks over.

TORCH...SUN 19TH SEPT.... www.torch69.com

amazing five-peice from Trondheim, Norway. started playing together about three years ago, leaving punk and pop for hardcore/metal. influences are many; hopesfall, glassjaw, machine head, slipknot, deftones, at the drive-in, refused, meshuggah and so on. recently toured norway with two other bands, with great success. all the merch and ep's were sold

out, and the press was more than satisfied! Aberdeen being the only scottish date on their uk tour...

... Musically, theyre moving into a suitable landscape. You can tell that these guys has got Refuseds The Shape Of Punk To Come on the top shelf and under their pillow.. At the same time are the new material heavily inspired by all Hopesfall releases, while the drumming still reminds me of Deftones. But unlike most other bands, its all combined in a remarkably good way!
