GordonDuthieMusic Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 Unfortunately there won't be a video online as I just did a regular hangout which doesn't record the session. I found out that you can't open up the actual hangout to the public if it's streaming on YouTube and you have to invite people individually to participate. I would be willing to do another one of these again in the future if I can get at least five committed hangout attendees beforehand (would have to know their Google+ name to invite them). The hangout I did was enjoyable though and it was good to play a couple of songs to a live audience, although it's a shame I couldn't stream it live on YouTube and have a recording of it afterwards on my channel which would have opened it up to a wider audience. The "Multimedia Monster" artwork was done by Richard Lock of Devolution Designs: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Devolution-Designs/171312626250336 His portfolio is very impressive and he did that cover in one draft after I told him what I was looking for. He is very good at apocalyptic themes and that's why I chose him for this piece. Your other album was way too OTT with mental production. It's a little more reigned on this track, but what you have used complements the electric sound a lot more than the acoustic sound you were doing before. Really good song. Well done.
