stevealex35
Hello,Since I now live in Berlin and have no means of transporting me trusty Ampeg Cab over the sea, I am reluctantly having to sell it.It is an Ampeg SVT Classic bass cab, with 8 x 8" speakers. VERY rare. Great punchy tone. IMO, superior to an 810. I was lucky to pick it up around 3 years ago. I have toured with it and it has NEVER let me down. It sounds huge.It is an old piece of equipment. When I bought it, the jack input was in poor condition, so I swapped it out for a Speakon connection. Much nicer in my opinion. Aesthetically, my engineering skills look ropey, but I can assure you that it works a dream.350 pounds.

"The Height of Abuse"
Does it have the chrome handle along the back and wheels? Do you know an approximate weight?
RockJammer
I love these old Ampegs. How awkward is it to fit in the back of a hatchback?

stevealex35
Hello, folks. It does indeed have the chrome handles and wheels. Makes it a little easier to move around It is somewhat awkward getting it into the back of a hatchback, but it would definitely fit. I have had it in the back Clio many times.Any more interest?
