TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I think that yr best bet is to ask the people on www.offsetguitars.com as they really know their stuff.
Fraser Mac
Im in the same boat with this problem, bought a modded mustang bridge from Warmoth as that was an option i had seen recommended on a few forums,Waste of money, changed nothing, same problem.Mastery is the best option. TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I think that the Mastery is hugely over-priced, I have had no problems whatsoever with my Mustang bridge. No buzzing at all. You could also try out installing a buzz stop to the tremolo.http://www.northcoastmusic.com/buzzstop/This is a handy page, explaining how to properly set up the tremolo.http://www.webrocker.de/jaguar/cms/2007/05/12/setup-the-tremolo-system/
fertuiee
They are so expensive, and it seems a bit high risk to me. I got some great info off a guy from Offset guitars, theyre really knowledgable and helpful ( ta Jan ) , one of which being heavier guage strings, so thats what i did ( 13's ) and it mysteriously has sorted the problem, for now. Also i gave Dave Cherry ( cherry guitars ) a bell and he wreckoned if i coudnt sort it he'd be able to do so, no problems.
fertuiee
Maybe worth adding, Dave Cherry is a top bloke, ive had some work done on an ancient acoustic i had, he did a fantastic job! Very reasonably priced too!
