Lemonade
He's probably too similar to Torres to be honest. Shame for the boy really. They probably couldn't afford his wages anyway.
Soda Jerk
David Villa has finally been confirmed as ruled out of the Euros. Wank. I don't want Spain to win it, but I want all the best players there. It's a shame when massive players miss out on the summer tournaments. I can't believe he's already 30. With all the great young players coming through at Barca and Bilbao, he might not even be in the squad for the next Euros, as he'll be 34 then. Paranoid Android
Would have been a great opportunity for the FA to experiment with their stupid idea of playing Premiership games abroad. Sure Chelsea and Man City fans wouldn't have given much of a fuck. It's little more than a friendly. Play it at the fucking Giants Stadium or something. An opportunity to experiment with a shit idea that hopefully never returns to anyone's thoughts. Villa park is one of the traditional grounds used by the FA. Nicely between Manchester and London as well. It's not strange decision at all really. Paranoid Android
A liverpool fan sent a message (or tweet as media savvy people might say) to Barrack Obama asking him to re-tweet (not entirely sure either) his message to show support for Rafa Benitez returning as Liverpool coach.I think that's right anyway. Sam 45
Maguire has been told he can leave Derby, Jimmy Mcfadden released by Everton, come on Broon get them signed up!!They tried to sign Faddy in January on the grounds it would give him a chance to get fit and put himself in the window. Adam Easy Wishes
They tried to sign Faddy in January on the grounds it would give him a chance to get fit and put himself in the window. It was actually in the summer, and by all accounts if what I hear is correct (which it is) it was a real possibility for a week or so. No chance of it happening now, though. We also tried to get Maguire back on loan in January but he wasn't interested in the slightest. There's no reason why he won't get another pop in the Championship after his successful spell at Portsmouth. Bristol City might fancy him given the Scottish connection. Moose
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18175442A smart manager would sign up this guy and The Dazzler. Perfect strike partnership.

Soda Jerk
So, Eden Hazard has agreed terms with 3 clubs, and now it's just a matter of picking which one he likes bestest, which he's gonna do after the 2 friendlies with Belgium. Is he better than David Silva? They essentially play the same position, so if he's got a firm head on his shoulders, he'd pick Chelsea or United, where he'll probably play every week. He's better than Malouda and Young respectively.I'd still rather he went to City or Chelsea. United are fine in the winger department. They arguably 3 of the best wingers in the league, but the midfield is shite. If they are going to splurge £30million+ on one player, it should be a big, fuck off hard bastard of a midfielder. framheim
was in the daily record yesterday that we tried to sign mcfadden again this week but were knocked back. at least we tried, always worth a punt!
Moose
To be honest, although I love the man more than any other man in the world, he'd probably be pretty ineffectual at The Dons. Obviously he'd be our best player by miles, but he'd probably get a bit bored quite quickly and his performances would suffer. Also, he's always injured, and you don't want to have your highest paid player out injured all the time.Regardless, as Nef C pointed out, it's not even worth discussing as it will never happen. Maybe in 4-5 years.
keeno
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18165334Newcastle sign French midfielder shocker. I wonder if it is to strengthen the squad or a cheap replacement for Cabaye (let's face it, Newcastle are going to get interest in quite a few players and Mike Ashley has a price for everything!). Woodsinho
He's more likely to be a replacement for Danny Guthrie who's on his way out this summer.
keeno
I know nothing about the new player but he is described as an attacking midfielder. Don't think Danny Guthrie is? Can't remember seeing much of him though.
Woodsinho
Guthrie's one of them jack-of-all-trade midfielders. He's probably better in a less attacking role but has covered for both Cabaye and Tiote when they've been injured/suspended in the last year. Soda Jerk
So. Pogba's off. He's leaving because he wants first team opportunities. Daft cunt. I think he's got a much better chance of getting a head of Anderson, Cleverley, Fletcher and Carrick in the pecking order than Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio. Scholes is in his last season and probably won't play more than 20-22 games next season. Anderson and Cleverley are made of glass and Fletcher probably won't return to full fitness and form. When did unproven 19 year olds become so impatient? Commanding to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world at 19 years old is mental. You have to earn it. He'll probably sit on the bench all season long next year too. Good move.
Soda Jerk
Joey Barton's been banned for 12 matches. Not enough. Soft FA. I hope in that 12 matches they make him clean boots and toilets.
Soda Jerk
Triple post. Sorry.Amazing goal this. The kid come on as a sub, picks up the ball 40 yards out, rinses the whole team, pokes it under the goal keeper and taps it into the bottom corner.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7DNhUdqDVw
Alphas
Did anyone see the documentary about Rangers tonight? If even half of what was reported is correct then it is astonishing.
