fertuiee
Think its harsh on Pardew, whatever his shortcomings are the problems always seem deeper than managers, suppose Ashley wiped a lot of debt. Doesnt help that theres 55,000 beying for blood every week, basically for being perennially trophy shy, if it was Bolton no one would give a fuck. Murrr
I think we have sod-all problems outside of the manager, to be honest. Anyone with a working brain should be able to steer our squad to a top 10 finish.
Captain America
Great game that. All Chelski first half and all Arsenal in the second. How on earth did Ramires not even get a yellow though Atkinson? He had about 6 bookable offences! Alkaline
He could be great if he can stay healthy!http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/21114412He needs to toughen up. It might go to our benefit if he doesn't have a consistent season for us as there may be less demand for him come summer time, and he may feel he has a point to prove as well.Like most Utd players if someone comes in with a decent offer over £1m i think the offer will be readily considered by Thompson as he seems to really be pushing the stability angle. I'm prepared for a few years in the doldrums again and a couple of brushes with relegation as well. I also fully expect Russell to be off in the summer. Apparantly Huddersfield last summer offered a million for both! It was rightly refused.

Murrr
Newcastle have signed two defenders (Mathieu Debuchy and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa) during this window, and we're close to wrapping up deals for another defender (some French lad called Haidara), a defensive midfielder (Moussa Sissoko) and a striker (Yoan Gouffran).Respect to the club for finally acquiring the players we should have during the summer. We might stay-up if all these jabronis sign.

Soda Jerk
If it ain't broke, and all that. Debuchy looks totally decent, and I'm surprised none of the big clubs looked at him after how well he did at the Euros. Cabaye has obviously worked out very well. Did Tiote come from the French league too?

Soda Jerk
Sammy Ameobi is excellent on Twitter. There was one tweet when FIFA12 came out, and he was annoyed he'd just been given the 'generic black player' appearance.
Murrr
Allez les Toon. If these deals come-off, we'll have the following Frenchies on our books:-HaidaraYanga-MbiwaGouffranSissokoCabayeBen ArfaAmalfitanoMarveauxObertanDebuchyPlus Cisse, Bigirimana, Tiote and Abeid, who call speak French.Has there ever been a Premier League club that's been completely taken over by another nationality like this? I remember Arsenal having a bunch of French lads back in the day, but this is mental.
Soda Jerk
There was that one time Man City bought Robinho and Jo, so the fans wore Brazil shirts to home games, for about 3 months, until they realised they were fucking idiots.
