Afro Droid
Anyone know why, when using Photoshop's text tool, the text sometimes appears absolutely miniscule, and there's no way you make it bigger? It just refuses to format the text. The image I'm trying to put text onto is only 1000x1423 pixels. Why!?(It's probably something really obvious....) Johnny Mac
what version of photoshop are you using?
mcbore
it may be that the dpi of the image is a whole lot bigger than it needs to be. So that the highest text value is strill incredibley small.

Dizzy Storm
ResCheck the resolution of the image you are working on... Make it 300 if you haven't alrerady! 'Industry standard' as they say... If that doesn't work get the crayons out!Jim
Frosty Jack
From the Adobe forums -" Go to Image---Image Size...What is the resolution of the file? (in pixels/inch or pixels/cm)Are you accustomed to working in inches, and possibly changed your units to metric? For web work, resolution should be 72 p.p.i.For print work, resolution should be at least 216* p.p.i. "*go with 300.
Johnny Mac
The resolution of the file shouldn't make a blind bit of difference. You can still change the size of the text regardless.Have you rasterised the text layer? THEN you won't be able to change the size of the text.

Plato the Greek
Alex Winters???Not quite. Rather it is a jock who is on the verge of failing his history assignment before he shouts out SAN DIMAS HIGHSCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES which I think gains him an A+, but I could be wrong. Anyway, computers are shit - print the picture out on a dot-matrix and use a black marker to apply any text you require before photocopying duplicates in the Spar on St. Machar Drive. Problem solved.
