LinseyBanana
====== Sun 27th May ====== FRIDGE MAGNETS livewith DJ sets fromKrazzy Martin (Everything Else Sucks)Youlap (Hot City)______________________> £5 all night> 10.30pm doors> Snafu> 1 Union St, Aberdeen______________________With huge Radio 1 support for tracks, Feeling Grows, Weapon and Death of Rock ‘N’ Roll, the latter of which was played several times thanks to an eye catching video that has become a bit of a minor hit on Youtube, Fridge Magnets are marching toward big things. Recently playlisted by Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mac, the band are now on a new level. The last few months have been particularly busy with picking up ‘Best Electronic Act’ at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards beating off strong competition from the likes of Rustie (nmbrs), playing the Big Beach Ball main stage and toured London's most famous venues.Described by many as “a mash up of Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 with elements of Example and Faithless”. Front man Steve Winton never fails to get the crowd going and his professional and consistent front man performances backed up by the musical talents of Ciaran Pasi (bass), Laurie Sanderson (lead guitar), Chris Philip (drums) and Campbell Nelson (synthesizer/programming) never disappoint.FRIDGE MAGNETS live on stage // Snafu // Sun 27th May
