Fri 8 June // MORAL DILEMMA (London) + THE OBSCENITIES // Disco Infernal

The Ghost Of Fudge

Recommended Posts

Fudge Industries International and the Moorings Bar present:

Friday 8th June - ‘Disco Infernal' with DJs Flash and Monday, and two live bands.

Born of the London squat scene, the band has spent the past six years tearing the U.K. live scene a new one. From gigs played through makeshift PAs in graffiti-scrawled, piss-smelling buildings to gracing the stages of the Reading and Leeds festivals, Moral Dilemma has undertaken a relentless journey through every gritty corner of the U.K. and Europe. The band even made time to record a session at the world-famous BBC Maida Vale Studios for the Radio 1 Punk Show.

The band’s live shows are renowned for their ferocity and intensity, two qualities that have not so much seeped through as they have flooded Moral Dilemma’s recorded output. Having been dismissed by some as just another punk band, Moral Dilemma continues to push the boundaries of the scene in which it sits. There’s a lot more depth to this band than studs and traditional clichés. Having graced the same stage as the likes of The King Blues, Sick Of It All, Swingin’ Utters, Leftöver Crack, Trash Talk, The Subhumans, The Skints, and Random Hand, this is a band that knows how to lay waste to France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Sweden (Punk Illegal festival), Norway and the Czech Republic.

The Obscenities brings a Hardcore anarcho noise assault that will melt your face off. With catchy hardcore guitar riffage, agressive anarcho vocals and brutal D-beat percussion. The Obscenities bring their own visceral punk sound and attitude to the masses. It's their first show at the bar.

First act onstage 9pm, second act 10pm. Strictly 18+ only. Free entry before 8.45pm, £3 thereafter until close.

Live music finished by 11pm, give or take, just in time for our rotating monthly clubnight Disco Infernal. Top name DJ's Flash & Monday will terrorise the dancefloor until 3am with classic rock, motown, disco, rock'n'roll and plenty more...

“The head on attack of guitar, bass and drums is near unyielding – pinning you down and dragging you along. You’ll emerge from the assault as a willing cohort.”

Big Cheese Magazine

“Angry, cutting and immediate, the band is writhing in brutally blunt menace; fast, intense and intelligent.”
