So I had a stall set up at the Big Beach Ball on Sunday, which was cool. It looked like this:

I heard Black Lake get a mention on Doug Loves Movies this week. That was a thing that happened.

 

Sure did! Was so weird hearing Doug say it - I've listened to that podcast for years!

BL023 ANNOUNCEMENT: 
"Thick Letters To Friends" is the second full length record from the mighty Kaddish and it will be released exactly five weeks from today on Friday 29th August.

This will be a joint release with Make-That-A-Take, Boslevan Records and The Ghost Is Clear Records (USA). Thank you to everyone involved in bring this record together; this album is truly a remarkable piece of work.

Recorded by Ross Middlemiss in Dundee and mastered by Carl Saff in Chicago, this first press comes on beautiful 180g heavyweight vinyl with artwork from Cal Sutherland, lyric sheet and digital download code for the full album plus downloadable extras. Limited to 300 copies worldwide, the release show will be your first chance to get your hands on a copy. Pre-order details will follow soon.

The release show will take place at DAE YER ANE CLUB II at Kage Nightclub, Dundee and will feature the band performing the record and Ecossemo all-star support from Carson Wells, Bonehouse and Stonethrower.
