The Ghost Of Fudge

Recommended Posts

Fudge Industries International and the Moorings Bar proudly present:

Friday 20th April - ‘Release Your Kraken' with DJ Woolie and two live bands.

"The songs blast Sister-era Sonic Youth through ace girl group melodies... it's basically off centre pop music with sharp, muscular angles. And it's sexy as f--k to boot." - Plan B magazine

"With the smashing debut album Recovery Position finally under their belt, we get yet another set of effortless edgy pop. Punk. Rock. Pop. It’s hard to pinpoint them. This is half the joy of the band. The other being you don’t really want to.. Someone should give them tons of money, so we can all start bitching about them." - Is This Music?

"Alt rock in the mould of other alt rock bands with a hint of both raw originality and unplaceable familairity..." they say. We call it, "Lo-fi indie rock, U.S. college style". Somewhere inbetween lies the truth.

First act onstage 9pm, second act 10pm. Strictly 18+ only. Free entry before 8.45pm, £3 thereafter until close.

From 11pm, we present our fabulous rotating-monthly-clubnight Bjorn Lippy, where DJ Woollie will play you some classic punk, eighties indie, new romantic, new wave, northern soul, and all manner of eighties classics. She doesn't do requests - don't say you weren't warned.
