Hint of the shambolic to this one as using the new setup for the first time combined with the afterburn of my birthday on Thursday meant preparing the CDs was hurried and left quite a few things at home that I'd wanted to play so no shows for some songs and slightly more obvious songs by bands that I'd usually have wanted to play tracks not aired quite as much in bars/clubs but no matter. Next time we shall be far better prepared and actually have some Carter USM with us this time

Screaming Trees - Halo Of Ashes

Chris Cornell - Can't Change Me

The Levellers - Hope Street

Pearl Jam - Black

Godhead - Eleanor Rigby

Tool - Sober [which swine tried to get me to play 'Disgustipated'? :p ]

The Cure - Lovecats

Lou Reed - Satellite Of Love

The Doors - People Are Strange

AC/DC - Have A Drink On Me

Guns 'n' Roses - Bad Obsession

Finch - New Beginnings

Pixies - Dig For Fire

Debbie Harry - Free To Fall

Biffy Clyro - 27

Sheryl Crow - This Picture feat.Kid Rock

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Feel A Whole Lot Better

Iron Maiden - Wasted Years

Velvet Revolver - Sucker Train Blues

Dimmu Borgir - Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse

Vomitus - Crucified

Capdown - Ska Wars

Green Day - Walking Contradiction

Misfits - Die Monster Die

Karloff - When Your Dark

AC/DC - You Ain't Gotta Hold On Me (Not actually 100% sure we played this - doesn't look like it's my writing on the playlist...)

Nightwish - The Kinslayer (Live)

Zeke - I Don't Give A Fuck

Broken Sunshine - Not 100% sure what the track is called I'm afraid. Good mind

Rage Against The Machine - Ashes In The Fall

Real Shocks - Hillman Pimp (Unfinished Version)

Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls

Runaways - Midnight Music

Radiohead - Electioneering

Smashing Pumpkins - Adore

Soundgarden - Rusty Cage

Terrorvision - Come Home Beanie

Certain Death - Track 4 on the EP

Fear Factory - Cyberwaste

Metallica - Of Wolf And Man (Live from S&M)

Amen - Bring Me The Heads

Cheap Trick - The Dream Police

Biffy Clyro - Joy.Discovery.Invention

Black Sabbath - Into The Void

Queens Of The Stone Age - Tension Head

Ministry - Animosity

Dead Kennedys - Viva Las Vegas

Soulfly - Jumpdafuckup feat.Corey Taylor

AC/DC - Soulstripper

Marilyn Manson - Irresponsible Hate Anthem

Audioslave - Cochise

Slayer - Raining Blood (Live)

Offspring - Come Out And Play

Queen - Killer Queen

Nirvana - Love Buzz

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Spread Your Love

Idlewild - Self Healer

The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary

Aerosmith - What It Takes

The Darkness - Get Your Hands Off My Woman

White Zombie - I'm Your Boogie Man

Rammstein - Feuer Frei

System Of A Down - Shimmy

Iron Maiden - Bring Your Daughter...To The Slaughter

Ramones - Cretin Hop

Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen In Love?

The Clash - Clash City Rockers

KISS - Detroit Rock City

Metallica - Wherever I May Roam

Machine Head - Davidian

Soundgarden - Jesus Christ Pose

Slipknot - Duality

The Damned - Smash It Up

There's a couple missing from there as I can't read the damned scrawlings that I've put on't paper but that's about the size of it for this time around :D

Mesage from CeeJay

Hi - Ceejay here!

Been keeping an eye on the weekly play lists. (Good idea BTW) Have to agree with Flash - there have been some brilliant sets!! Keep up the good work - although try not to be too brilliant or I'll be told to sling my hook!!

I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know of any new music that has been going down well with the punters. I have been updating my CD collection whilst on maternity leave e.g Nightwish, Stratovarius, Turbonegro, Seether, In Flames, Van Halens Greatest (2CD) and a few more - can't remember off hand.

Might drop by on Friday night. Can't wait to be DJ-ing again - missing it like crazy!!!

Regards to all.

I've always thought if places posted playlists it might tempt people down to wherever they're DJing at if they see slightly unusual songs being played or a consistently good list of tracks. I dunno maybe that's just me :D

I'd say Van Halen of those bands would be the popular choice but Nightwish seems to be attracting some new fans I'd say. 'The Kinslayer' live version especially sounds immensely powerful but no one's asked who they are yet (perhaps they all already know :) )

Any idea when your return shall be? Nae doubt some of the punters'll be looking forward to less Blood Brothers and the likes from us so perhaps I can use the information to soothe their angry souls :p

Hey CeeJay, great to hear from you!

How's the bump doing? May see you on Friday if you make it in past. How imminent is the birth btw - might be an idea to bring in some boiling water and fresh towels with you just in case eh?

xx
