Jaaakkkeee
It's a band for band remake of Aaron's favourite gig.
Moose
I CAN'T RELATE TO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alkaline
That song is listentoable but just that. I wouldn't go to a gig or buy a CD but if it came on the radio or tv or whatever i wouldn't be putting a black and decker to my ears to block it out or dive for the remote. Old Gold
This producer's drums sound like a bunch of cardboard boxes getting hit by a wooden spoon every time.
LiamC
As a long time follwer of the band, think ive missed 5 gigs in total, i prefer the old version. the vocals put me off this.
FOX
Not keen on the drums but other than that the song is pretty well done!
Old Gold
I just noticed that there's a band called Sunnyside on that bill. Way to name your shit band after a psychiatric hospital in Montrose dudes.
Stroopy121
It sounds to me like you're going the same way as Autumn in Disguise. Cleaning it all up and taking it all in a more pop-oriented direction. Nothing necessarily wrong with that but it's not my cup of tea.xx
Jaaakkkeee
But this was written before AID was even thought of...
Stroopy121
I know, but the re-recorded version sounds MUCH poppier than the original did.xx
The Milner
Its a good tune, cheesy but i like that kinda thing, dont really hear a problem with the drums to be honest, i think they sound fine.
Stroopy121
They are just lacking in a little bit of BOOM. To my ears they sound a little too... crisp? I dunno what the word I'm looking for is, but I think drums should sound like if each beat was a word, it would be a swear word.Uhn, Tss, Uhn Uhn, Tss should sound like FUCK, CUNT, FUCK FUCK CUNT.xx
mistersticks
I can see where people are coming from on the drums, but personally I think they sound suited to the genre here. Hope 2012 goes well for the band!

Aaron_Robertson
Thanks for the feedback guys. I wasn't a fan of the original vocals and they were really gritty before because I couldnt handle it without killing my throat. I can understand why people would say that about the drums and the vocals. The intention was never to go for a pop sound to fit in like other bands may do we have always been a bit poppy. I have a better range now than when I first recorded stuff.. I still belt but not as harsh as I once did and that maybe why it sounds a bit more poppy. I sing alot of pop stuff. This song is very cheesy and I am fully aware. I LOVE THE CHEESE.Just doing this totally for the fun.. We wont be touring or trying to "make it" if there is a change in sound its just how it's came out. Its not to follow any trends or anything. Thanks again for checking it out anyway. Its not going to be everyones cup of tea and thats the way it should be.x
Stroopy121
Didn't mean to come across like I was implying you're copying AID or anything, just that this is less my cup of tea for the same reasons I dislike the latter-day AID stuff.xx
