My cat's got medium length hair and occasionally gets shit stuck to her bum. She seems to have learnt now that if she doesn't clean herself we'll do it for her, which she hates so she gets better. As Chris says my cat learnt that if it was dirty i would get a wet cloth to her arse, and she absolutely hated that, now its never a problem .
