If no one buys them they'll most likely end up in cat shelters, or not be cared for properly (a friend bought a flea infested cat from a woman who had no idea how to care for cats. The cat and kitten had fleas and the litter tray was overflowing. The cat was only 9 months old and it had had it's first litter (of two).
