russtyeh
Yeh, definitely Sonic Youth, Pavement and Yo La Tengo. Tend to do this with Weezer, Nirvana and Broken Social Scene aswell.Wilco would be another for me, although it usually ends in me just listening to Kicking Television on repeat. Definitely going to go listen to Wilco now.
maud 'dib
Sonic Youth as well here. Spiritualized also cause a major case of musical tunnel vision- a spaceman binge can last the guts of a month.
Flights
I forgot about Cocteau Twins till I realised I'd listened to them for over four hours at work yesterday, went home and had a strum and sing a long to them, then fell asleep listening to the ambient album they did with Harold Budd. MC Nice Andrew
Frank Turner fo sho. Since discovering his solo stuff bout 6 months ago, the binge is sort of coming to a halt, though it'll peak again come April and Wembly.Devin Townsend is another safe house for me. Can binge for a good few days, due to how much material he has, if I'm bored of everything else. Also Eluvium, Just keep my headphones on all day and get lost in an etheral trance of soft harmonies and string pads. Paranoid Android
I know a lot of people who go on about Frank Turner being great but the only thing I've heard from anyone with that name is and I refuse to believe it's the same person they're talking about. The man in the video deserves an anvil dropped on his head.
Paranoid Android
I honestly thought Brand New were just a band that were mildy popular about 10 years ago then disappeared. The fact that they have people totally obsessed with them should give hope to most bands out there.

Jaaakkkeee
After listening to Brand New far too much, I put on Enter Shikari and The Chariot this morning on the way to work. Brand New will be going on on the way home though. Over an hour of Brand New before I go home and play them while I do other things.
Paranoid Android
have you thought about changing it up and listening to something brand new?

MC Nice Andrew
Today is the first day since last Thursday i've put on something that wasn't Brand New. Thought i'd give At The Drive In a blast, but within an hour TDATG was back on. This is bordering obsession.I hated that album to begin with; it just wasn't Deja Entendu and I thought it was all tired and worn out. One day it just clicked and became my favoritst album over the course of the binge that ensued.
Soda Jerk
Man, this place is all about Brand New at the moment. I thought only girls liked them.

Jaaakkkeee
Well, tuesday's payday so I'll buy more music and binge quite a lot on that.
Spoonie
I only binge listen. Sometimes an album, sometimes one track. I've got an obsessive personality so when I like something, I ride it like Seabiscuit until it's worn out, then I move on.
