The Ghost Of Fudge

Recommended Posts

Fudge Aberdeen present:

Friday 17th February - Shiprocked with DJ Beard Fury

AXIS OF (Belfast, N.I.)

"Cult Status Looks Assured" - Kerrang.

“The most exciting band to come out of Northern Ireland,

possibly ever. 9/10” - Rocksound.

Axis Of's brand of alternative-hardcore was born in a shed

on the wind battered North Coast of Northern Ireland just

over 2 years ago. With hundreds of shows, 6 UK tours,

over a month touring mainland Europe, numerous radio

sessions for the likes of Across The Line and BBC Radio

One, articles in AU, Kerrang, Hotpress, Rocksound, and

The Fly, two sold out singles and single launch shows in

Belfast, support slots with Therapy? and King Blues, and a

debut album being finished in Belfast right now, Axis Of

show no signs of slowing.

A trio of noisy young men. It’s ages since they played, so

prepare to feast your ears on some post-punk-neo-rock.

First act onstage 9pm, second act 10pm. Strictly 18+ only.

Free entry before 8.45pm, £3 thereafter until close.

DJ Beard Fury will provide epic tunage from when the bands

finish at around 11pm, right up to 3am. By which time we'll

all be drunk, with luck. Expect Clutch meets Soulwax meets

Deftones meets Justice meets bluegrass meets Oh My!

It could end anywhere, musically speaking. Mine's a jager.
