First off some groove/sludge riffs as the thread has loads so best to continue the trend.

I'll try to post less obvious stuff but New Millenium Cyanide Christ is too good to miss and the video is ace. SikTh is too obvious so here is another Pin one instead, love this riff... probably the only one on here though!

EDIT: Screw WMG. Soundcloud is here -> http://soundcloud.com/basickrecords/whats-left-for-us

Great ridiculous riffing. Not on board with those vocals though. Not AGGRO enough. I did enjoy the video alot however. Silliness.

Found this on the Basick Records Soundcloud that Keeno posted. Instrumental track by some band called Monuments. I thought I knew what the word 'Staccato' meant. Fuckkkk me. That is some mind-boggling staccato.

Amusing fact - Browne, the guitarist who basically is Monuments since the band changes members every month lived in Aberdeen last year. I have no idea if he still is here though. He does lessons over skype and I was so tempted to get one in person.

Basick Records is basically the home of British tech/prog metal. They have put out some ridiculous stuff over the last few years. For you in particular - check out The Epillanic Choragi by No Made Sense. Should be on spotify.

Fellsilent had some ace riffs. They were Browne from Monuments old band. The other guitarist went on to form another very popular 'djent' band called TesseracT. That completes your induction to the British djent scene circa 4 years ago ;)

This feels very strange. Is tech metal actually accepted on this website now? A couple years ago all I got was hate due to my love of it :p

With all the talk of post hardcore... here is one of my fave riffs.

I'd not heard them before that. I've still not heard them other than the track on the Basick Soundcloud, which is ace. Basick have barely any of their stuff on Spotify. They need to get on that.

I thought everything was on Spotify, not a user of it myself though. If you want to borrow anything I own almost the entire Basick back catalogue so give me a PM. Sumerian Records are again well worth checking out if you like most of what I post- they are the nearest USA equivalent to Basick. 3 of the 5 bands in this post are signed to Sumerian. They took all their stuff off spotify though but most of it is on youtube. Back on track with the riffs.

Fans of good old fashioned chugs will love this

Love this song but the breakdown riff (3mins) in particular is majestic (and I HATE breakdowns!)

Bass riffs.
