I have no idea if he still is here though. He does lessons over skype and I was so tempted to get one in person.Basick Records is basically the home of British tech/prog metal. They have put out some ridiculous stuff over the last few years. For you in particular - check out The Epillanic Choragi by No Made Sense. Should be on spotify. Fellsilent had some ace riffs. They were Browne from Monuments old band. The other guitarist went on to form another very popular 'djent' band called TesseracT. That completes your induction to the British djent scene circa 4 years ago This feels very strange. Is tech metal actually accepted on this website now? If you want to borrow anything I own almost the entire Basick back catalogue so give me a PM. Sumerian Records are again well worth checking out if you like most of what I post- they are the nearest USA equivalent to Basick. 3 of the 5 bands in this post are signed to Sumerian. They took all their stuff off spotify though but most of it is on youtube.
