Guest Tam o' Shantie Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 as I said earlier it's pretty good on a first listen, starts out sounding really tame then gets more interesting. Bit of a Bruce Springsteen, 80s power rock vibe there but not in an overpowering way. Basically if these guys just spend the rest of their careers putting out reasonably good pop tunes I'll be happy. Just about every other band I ever liked in my lifetime eventually put out shite music. The Shins have done pretty well to have 3 good albums, even if the last one is definitely their worst.
