FOX
http://thequietus.com/articles/07562-grinderman-splitNick Cave has an announced the end of Grinderman at the Meredith Music Festival in Victoria. According to reports from down under, Cave told the 12,000 strong crowd "That's it for Grinderman. It's over," before apparently adding "See you all in another ten years when we'll be even older and uglier."Can't say I personally listened to them, but maybe some on here did? Lots of praise for Grinderman 2...
Lemonade
I have the two albums but barring a few tracks I never really got into them in the same way that I did the Bad Seeds.
FOX
I listened to "Heathen Child" and watched its video and to be honest I think they sound(ed) like how guitar sounds after a bad trip. Not for me.
Monster Zero
The second album was a marked improvement on most of the first for me but I hope this sees the end of Cave's apparent mid-life crisis marked by Grinderman, 'The Death of Bunny Munro' and 'Dig Lazarus Dig', all of which I found slightly underwhelming.Hopefully Ellis will get on and do a new album with Dirty Three. And then play gigs again because they are top of my bucket list.
kirsten
Sad about this, but glad I got to see them live and also happy if it means that the Bad Seeds will be back in the studio or touring soon.
