Bedford Records is an independent record label based in the North East of Scotland. Following on from a sold out Xmas Party last year, the label has chosen a selection of their artists to perform together to form a fantastic night of original music this December at the Lemon Tree. The event will showcase an eclectic mix of Scottish bands and include a live set from popular electronic indie band IndianRedLopez, who are launching their new single at the event, as well as a welcome return to the Lemon Tree for Americana style rockers The Deportees. Alongside the aforementioned bands, local rockers Velvet Audio and distinguished songwriters Stanley will perform at the event. Opening the night will be Bedford Records signings The Maydays who will be making their first trip to Aberdeen following on the back of a successful UK Tour.

IndianRedLopez will be launching a brand new single at the gig!

Well - I saw the first 3 bands at this and it was pretty damn good.

Wasn't as impressed with Velvet Audio as I've been in the past - they were still good, but not as rocking as they normally are. The last song was fucking ace though.

Really liked the Maydays (having never heard them before) - good pop/indie type tunes.

Stanley were fucking great. Only the second time I've seen them, but fuck they were good.

Had to shoot off on driving duties just before Deportees took to the stage, which was disappointing, but ach well. I got their single (long overdue) and gave it a spin today - good couple of tracks - especially like the B-side actually!
