Is it supposed to be tongue-in-cheek? In a turbo-meta-hipster kinda way, both revelling in and taking the piss out of overly commercial pop music. Or is it just what it is... crazily catchy pop tunes? I can't figure it out but the fact i've listened twice probably means I think it's a good album and it doesn't really matter what it's supposed to be.
