That one belongs more in the That's Amazing! thread.

True, but if you've seen the footage of Dwain Weston and Jeb flying under the bridge and Dwain fatally miscalculating it, that bit of footage becomes slightly more fuck that.:)

I saw a TV program about that - they were filming that for some commerical in the states, I think. The camera man zooms his camera past, and realises there is only one flying past.

As you said, fuck that.

"He plummeted more than 200 feet in his wingsuit, hitting the rocks below. A Table Mountain spokesperson tells The Telegraph that Corliss would have likely died if he didn't get his chute off on the way down.

He broke both of his legs on the rocks, and was taken by air ambulance to a private hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit. It's unclear exactly what went wrong on the jump -- strong winds, a miscalculation, or something else."

"A group of "urban explorers" who say they have climbed Europe's tallest building half a dozen times in the past three years are planning a new campaign, they said on Monday, aimed at scaling landmark sites in the UK and Europe in the coming months.

Bradley Garrett, who is part of an organisation that calls itself the LondonConsolidation Crew, said he was one of the trespassers who scaled the Shard, in central London, posting dramatic pictures from the 309-metre summit on his blog at the weekend."

The Chernobyl tour would be absolutely incredible. Would fucking love a slice of that action.

xx

I was looking into going to Chernobyl last year as I was going over to Ukraine, unfortunately the missus said no and we were in Crimea and Lugansk which are the other side of the country (South and East).
