keeno
I'm really getting into Evan Brewer's Alone album (only bass guitar and nothing else) and was wondering if more albums of this type exist? I know about a couple of post rock bands doing this with drums but nothing like Alone. Bands like this would also be great No vocals, just music. I prefer instrumental for reading and studying. Cheers!

Randy Watson 101
The 'Hofner Blue Notes' album, by Chris Rea, is an entire album played on a Hofner bass. Not bad. Really laid back, though.
Graham
Search for a band called Ganger. I think they were from Glasgow. They were around in the 90's. God only knows what happened to them.Good shout! Hammock Style is one of my favourite albums. I often give it a listen for some inspiration for my own bass playing. Their Canopy EP is also really good.Think they split around 2000 or so.

Alphas
Played with The Fire and I from Bathgate before and they are just bass and drums. Some decent songs and rather lively onstage.
Teabags
I can't believe I forgot Om!The basis of all their music is bass, drums and vocals, thought they occasionally use piano and such like.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
The Creatures were a Siouxsie and the Banshees side project that featured two bass guitarists. I mind seeing them on Later... with Jools Holland years ago.
Monster Zero
Morphine eschewed guitar in favour of bass, drums and sax. Dunno if the addition of sax matters. They were ace anyway.
