lepeep
my blues explosion experience, was :Beastie BoysBlues ExplosionDJ Hurricane...now that was a fucking great gig...if no one has heard the Hurra's first LP (on Wijja records), try and find it, it's an ace RAP lp, with a distinct flava. Hardcore Mel
I have the best blooooooos explosion tale. Reading 2002, Chris had buggered off halfway through to catch T(INC) and i stayed for the rest of jon spencer's set, managing to run into Brother John Robb from Goldblade, who remembered me from their aberdeen gig and we had a lengthy chat. It was ace.
french_disko
i must agree' date=' that really was an awesome lineup (not that i went to see it...)[/quote']I was there. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs pulled out, though. We had a spare ticket (and the gig was sold out) & offered it to a guy outside for face value. He offered a tenner so we told him to piss off & we went back to the box office, where they were offering refunds because the YYYs weren't playing & we 15 back. I looked out the window during the I(N)S set & the guy was still there. I really did't understand his logic.
