Flights
the start is a point I stick on quite alot. I often have a great idea, chord progression and that, but the sheer motivation required to get going just puts me off. I can never seem to sit down with the intention to write either. I usually wake up late at night with an idea screaming at me. The middle and the end come easy but getting the ball rolling is a killer sometimes! Soda Jerk
I've currently got a basic major key 3 chord bit that I just can't piece a vocal melody to. It's making me want to chew my arm off.I think I'm just going to rap over it.
Old Gold
As much as I like hearing a song come together in the end, I've just spent a good straight hour recording boring guitar/banjo lines to create a 2 minute tune. Am I fuck bothering with the vocals today.
Skubbs
Does anyone remember that Ghostwriter episode where one of the characters has to come up with another couple of verses, and they use scraps of paper with words written on to help? When I was little, I thought all songwriters did that...
