Tonight at the Arts Centre

Recommended Posts

Just got back from a very entertaining evening at the Aberdeen Arts Centre.

Joyce Falconer, a real Torry quine, who found fame as an actress in the BBC's River City, gave a real tour de force solo performance that encapsulated music and poetry.

Joyce accompanied herself on accordian and piano and the lyrics varied from Robert Burns to Kurt Weil - a variation that is quite an accomplishment in itself.

There were at least three Aberdeen Music posters in the very appreciative audience.

The show is on again tomorrow night at the Arts Centre and is well worth a visit.
