girl anachronism
Couldn't find another thread about this. Found this online this morning and can't stop listening to it; it's Bon Iver covering one of my favourite Sharon Van Etten songs. I think it's amazing. Post some of YOUR favourite cover versions, it'll be fun and that, innit.

Soda Jerk
I don't care for Alkaline Trio, but Hot Water Music covering Radio is a belter. Wollard's vocals on the second verse are just smashing. I also don't really care for Frank Turner since he turned into a massive wanker, but he does a reasonably good cover of the Outdoor Type by The Lemonheads. Great song, too. Cap'n Jazz's shambolic Take On Me cover. Fun. Andy Mckee covering Toto's Africa, instrumentally, with his mad guitar skills. Karate do Minutemen, and quite well. Quicksand doing The Smiths - How Soon Is Now, making it sound as un-Smiths as possible, and very much like Quicksand. So, they made it sound better, obviously. Jonah Matranga - Digital Bath - YouTubeJonah does good Deftones covers. Wish he'd do good recorded versions of them, so I don't have to rely on ropey Youtube videos. Absolutely incredible, I urge you all to take just 3 minutes out of your day to listen to it. Please.
