jester1470 Posted August 4, 2011 Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 It was good until the end, he had mentioned how the industry must change and adapt to suit new technologies, then he stuck firmly to his line on piracy which arguably is part of that thing he must adapt to as his industry changes, music sharing is part of the enw situation he mentioned and isntead of trying to use potentially dangerous acts like the DE act they sould be trying to thrive within it, for a small artist they can now presell albums, presell tours, they can put out all sorts of special editions or digital editions to help combat piracy, a blame culture will not sort the problem someone will always do it, people did it with taping it's just one opft hose things and it can be overcome by making the item your selling attractive enough to have in a physical format.
