Saturday 24th September @ the Moorings Bar, Fudge Aberdeen present:

LONGHORN

Longhorn | Facebook

Five chaps from Edinburgh who play stoner-rock-doom-metal, and only

kneel before "the mighty powers of the Bull God". I hope you get the idea,

because the new material's sounding kickass.

WHICH WAY NOW

Which Way Now | Facebook

"Which Way Now hit the stage next with a thunderous start that didnt let

up until the last note. With a female singer (Heather) keeping things ticking

over these guys produced the best of the night by a long way. Blistering

guitar solos that put the other bands guitar sound to shame. These guys are

not another Paramore, thank God.... think hard rock with a nod to classic rock

that just happens to have a hot female vocalist. Please come back soon."

- Aberzine review

First act onstage 9pm, second act onstage 10pm. 18+ only.

Plus! Alt.Karaoke host DJ Lucifer's rotating monthly clubnight

'JUSTICE FOREVER' running from 11pm til the 3am curfew

and promising "Earth's mightiest rock, punk and metal from the

90s, 00s and beyond!"

Bottled beers sourced from the furthest reaches of the darkest

continents! Our own brand Moorings Ale! A ninja for a doorman!

A vast selection of draft beers! Proper ciders! T-shirts! Chess!

The legendary jukebox! A colourful cast of regulars! Karaoke!

Connect Four! CAMRA discount! Student discount! There's even

a bloody PIRATE discount if you actually look the part...

Did I write that? That was nice of me. And brave. My psycho ex-girlfriend would have ripped my face clean off my body if I'd dared to refer to another girl as "hot".

Just a bit of info for folks, our (Which Way Now) rhythm guitar player Dave Taylor was involved in a serious car accident a couple of weeks back. Thankfully he'll make a full recovery but he's going to be out of action for a while. However we are not going to be pulling out of this gig but instead will have Arran Christie (Ex-Abdysma, Akord) deputising in for Dave. I'd like to point out that due to what's happened, this will likely be the last gig we play for a year or so depending on how long Dave takes to heal. So if you want to catch us anytime soon, head down Moorings way on the 24th :).
