Bigsby
Looking forward to it.Although I think those stage times might be a struggle, takes us a little while to get all our gear set up.

Graham Knight
The Mapaso Gang @ The MooringsThe Malpaso Gang topped the bill at The Moorings and played to a smaller crowd than usual for this lively venue.Popular femme vocalist, Nina, announced that she was infanticipating and would be sitting on a barstool for most of the night. The band began with Hank William's pre-rock'n'roll rocker, "Honky Tonkin'" and for the rest of the set Nina hardly sat on the aforementioned barstool but was swaying in her usual sexy manner.Malpaso Gang followers will have noticed some new numbers in the hour long set - the best was a cover of Don Gibson's "Sea of Heartbreak".During one tear-jerking number two dancers were spotted doing a slow waltz - surely a first at The Moorings. The evening ended with a rousing rendition of "White Lightning."Son Henry was outstanding and managed to change guitars three times during the show. sonhenry
Hey Graham, thanks for the positive feedback. The guys were really great last night, and Nina was fantastic as always but I felt like I was fighting that big amp and couldn't hear the steel guitar at all. I was playing by feel, not by ear- a dangerous way to play that steel guitar. Fingers crossed I was in tune!
Bigsby
Thanks for coming down and for the feedback Graham. I expect the crowd was down a bit because the students aren't back. Students love their country music.
