Bit short notice on this one but we're just going to have a mellow show anyway. This Saturday 7pm onwards...

One of the original Wab Labbers Mr. Neil Cruickshank is shifting to the big Burgh so a wee show this Saturday is in order. Also joining us will be another original Wabber Seb Innes. Just added a master of reggae crate sniffing 'Ennayess' to the evening.

Sit back and blaze your evening away to a fine collection of Hip-Hop / Funk & Reggae from all 3 of our record boxes. Think we'll phone a few friends up and see what's going on. Maybe get a few freestyles down the phoneline again.

Friday, September 16 at 8:00pm - 12:00am

This Friday brings you the legend that is Iceman aka Iain Wilkin. Playing the best in hidden gem house music you'll ever hear.

I've listened to Iain DJ countless amounts of parties and clubs over the last 20 years and he nevers fails to take you on a sneaky journey of build ups and funky little snippets of brilliance. All cleverly constructed from meticulous tune sourcing and the pashion for musical meaning.

Summer is kind of here so we've decided to fill a month up with sounds you can chill to, groove to, lounge to, pass out to, smile to and accompany booze... to.

We shall not bombard thee all month with gawd damn event posts, how dare we share information on a social network! Instead I shall say this only wance for the whole month. Things may change by small details but that shall be adjusted along the way.

Wed 6th June 8pm -

Possible night with Luiz Pinheiro and friends. All flavours of music from the shelves most likely hip-hop and tech house for the Portuguese contingents. (TBA)

Fri 15th June 8pm -

Dave Leys, Andy Duguid, Gary Hesketh & kPq. This is an all out house night from these legends of musical knowledge. Dates may change (TBA).

If it's different, then it's kPq playing a nothing but vinyl evening.

Fri 22nd June 8pm -

After another successful throw together jam Neil Cruickshank, Chemical Callum & kidProquo will be back on the buttons and bit and bobs and blowy thing's (minus Pete unfortunately as he'll be in Germany). The plan is to actually put something together for you through the week this time before we go on air. Keeping it light and fun.

Fri 29th June 8pm -

The Iain and Iain Summer Time Experiment. Iain Wilkin (Iceman) & Iain Stewart (Ennayess) will be joining kidProquo for a 6 turntable tech house night. Nothing more really to say about that than plug that shiz in to your garden or across the 3G somewhere with some nice speakers because there will be some cracking Summer time dance tunes blasting for hours constantly between the 3 of us!

Well, after a ridiculous battle with technology, wires and server connections! Ice and kidProquo finally managed to settle down with a four turntable setup and pull this back to back track for track special blend on the go. Lot's of fun, lot's of great tech house tracks. Big up to everyone that stuck through the trauma lastnight and messaging in from all over the place.

To anyone that couldn't tune in, I apologise. Major traffic going on. That is the end of Sky broadband. Too many people in the area clogging the system. It's time the Lab stepped up to 'Infinity'. Get on the fibre optic. I shall upload the archive for everyone that had to miss out. Server connection was a complete joke and out of my hands unfortunately. Upgrades will be in place for the next show. Bandwidth for everybody!!!
