Aah Chris wasn't happy with the sound all gig seemingly and in the last song of the normal set smacked his mic off the stand with his guitar and then in the last song of the encore he started shouting at Pete to 'sack the fucking guitar tech' and suchlike to which Pete replied 'It's not my fucking fault' and then Chris turned his back and started playing the song again.

Pete ended the song with 'Thanks goodnight' and slammed his bass down onto the ground. Chris followed suite with his geetar and they both stormed off to the back. Bit of a dampener on the end of the gig methinks...

I expect stern words were exchanged in the dressing room though and that the interchangeable guitarist guy cowered in the corner as the drummer tried to have a smoke and watch some T.V over the noise...

Nae announcement of a split. Yet.

ahhh. well the way we saw it, chris thought pete had turned off his amp...

sounded like he shouted 'did you turn off my amp?' at pete, who replyed 'eh?!', having no idea what chris was on about. chris shouted at him again, to which he replied 'no i fucking didn't! why the fuck would i?' (words to that effect), and looked really pissed off. cue a lot of sulking and looking pissed off.

they played copper girl, so i was happy :)

What I've heard of the newie was a bit patchy IMO, certainly nowhere near as good as 'Pure', which is a shame, 3CR were one o the bands I really loved in '97.

No matter anyways - I thoroughly enjoyed the gig.

No one can deny that 'Repeat To Fade' sits right up there with the very best of the 3CR material...

I thought Repeat To Fade was mince compared to the earlier stuff.

I forgot they were playing up here. oh well.

Marsh bought the 'Repeat To Fade' single for a fiver and then they were giving it away with the t-shirts on the night of the gig. Was he ever angry! :p
