ShmuFM are looking for new local bands and artists to join us on our Band of the Week project!

If you are local to Aberdeen and have new material and up-coming gigs or just want to promote yours or your bands name join us at the station for a full week dedicated to you or your bands work.

We will play your music every day for a week on our flagship shows (Breakfast, Lunch and Drive), we will read out your Band Biography and let listeners know of any up-coming gigs you have.

You will also be invited to join us live in the studio on the Thursday of your week between 5pm- 7pm to be interviewed by our Cruise Control presenters Gary and Nikki. On the show you will be invited to play some acoustic tracks live and talk about yours or your bands past, present and future.

We are looking to fill our schedules from September to December 2011 so if youre free get in touch to organise your week on the station now.

If youre interested in joining the project and you want to get your music out there for Aberdeen to hear get in touch right now with Hayleigh on hayleigh@shmu.org.uk or by calling 01224 515 013. Alternatively add us on our Facebook page Station House | Facebook and we will organise your week via the Facebook page.
