got played by Mark Ryan on his Amazing Beats show on Friday night along with Fiona Soe Paing (another aberdeenshire electronica producer). it's a great show and worth checking out for a good range of electronic music. I think i'm on about 4:22:00 with the intro about 4:17:00

oh hey, I've put a new track up on soundcloud.  It's going to be part of an EP i'm working on just now which I'll hopefully put out in some form later this year.  it explores Scott and Amundsen's race to the pole during the heroic age of antarctic exploration.

I get the antarctic thing, prefer your noisier work though.

there'll be a couple of noisier tracks on the EP I'm sure.  The first track is certainly livlier and the next two should be faster.  They probably won't be uploaded until the EP's ready though, just thought it'd be nice to add this one as a variation.

it is definitely good that people get the antarctic thing though, thanks for listening!

My tastes in electronic music largely favour the ambient - this is good. Was this achieved using that Novation gizmo? Edited by Godzilla Blues

cheers!

it was created partially with the launchpad but only as a midi controller for some of the beats.  so they were just created by tapping them out on the pads.  you could acheive the same with any midi controller, even a wee keyboard.  the main tool was using ableton to manipulate the other material and for the synth sounds.  I would recommend trying the launchpad to see how it benefits first.
