Diesel Posted May 22, 2011 Report Share Posted May 22, 2011 Did anyone else go to see Glenn Hughes last night?What a superb gig!Being a childhood Deep Purple fans, my partner and I went along on a nostalgia trip, half expecting to see a by-the-numbers performance by an old rock tart trading on former glories.Instead we were treated to an energetic display by "Voice of Rock" and his tighter-than-tight band of young European musicians (German, Norwegian and Swedish I think) - and WHAT a singer!We're really looking forward to seeing Black Country Communion at the 02 in Glasgow this July.
