Suspire are an indie/alternative rock 'n' roll trio from Glasgow, Scotland. The band have been a three-piece since 2008. Having secured the main support for Shonen Knife and XSM in 2010 and also making their debut appearance at major festival, RockNess followed by US/Canadian tour dates, the band then secured Gordy Goudie of Echo and The Bunnymen as producer of their forthcoming single.

In 2009, the band toured parts of France. Time well-spent testing their songs on a very different audience. Later in the same year, the band released their debut single, 'Legislate for Luck', which included the title track as the A-side and double B-sides, 'Aggressive Expansion' and 'Succeeding'. The single sold well over the expectations of the band whilst gaining international radio airplay, including primetime spins in Washington D.C, USA.

Lindsay Hutton - The Next Big Thing

"I think this trio could arrest the hearts and minds of a considerable swathe of 20-somethings with a flexible catchment for your more musically promiscuous elders"

Gordy Goudie - Echo and The Bunnymen"A tight rocking 3-peice combo with a supercharged groove to wake even the dead"

El Parks Is This Music?"I have to admit, Im a little in love with these guys. They believe in hard work and talent, and helping others with the same ideals."

Rachel Bolland - RockFeedback"Suspire are one of those really great rock bands, no frills, no gimmicks. They just know exactly how to produce wonderfully intense indie-rock"

Susan Ford Music-News.com "If Kurt Cobain liked Shonen Knife, Id like to hear what hed say to Suspire, the Glasgow-based trio providing the main support for the Shonen Knife show. Suspire play with energy this evening, showcasing passion through every beat and melody"

Brian McGee Ex-Simple Minds "There is also a new band called Suspire who I really like and hopefully if given the time to develop and succeed they could be the next big thing"

Bluesbunny Bluesbunny Independent "Suspire easily entertain your mind as well as they entertain your ears. Sunshine or Suspire. Either will bring light into your life."
