Lemonade
Does anyone know if Holburn Tropicals stock crickets?Reptiles on the Green is always closed, and I need crickets for the tarantulas. Pets at Home haven't had a delivery yet, even though they were meant to get last night and this morning.I've tried calling Holburn Tropicals, as they're nearest but no answer There's a reptile shop on the Castlegate that sells them. Skubbs
Reptiles on the Green - they moved but kept their name, so it's confusing. But it's closed, I've heard that the owner has MS and has been too ill to go in. Then again, I heard she was pregnant too, so no idea what's going on but there's a sign up telling the postie to put all their mail to the store next door. Skubbs
Ace, Pets at Home is a bit of a trek to be honest. I'll keep trying to call Holburn Tropicals just in case though, as it's much nearer and I'm lazy. Thanks

Maybe the footballer likes going to gigs or the Welsh bird likes gigs, especially Welsh gigs with Welsh people. Ones that play gigs in Manchester perhaps.Just a rumour though. Soda Jerk
Wish there was an Ask Soda thread. I'd be fine with being regarded as a god of the internet.

french_disko
Where can I get about 20 square metres of topsoil and about 25 square metres of turf for a cheap price? Cost for the above & delivery from Dobbies comes to around 250. Anywhere cheaper?
Chris
Know any farmers? We got as much topsoil as we wanted from a farmer last year. It was screened for stones but still had a lot of weeds in it but at least it was a damn site cheaper than buying it.In the end we managed to get a complete new lawn for just the price of the seeds compared to the hundreds and even thousands some of the landscape companies were quoting. Soda Jerk
is there something on facebook that can block gig invitations, like there was on Myspace to block friend requests from bands? Fed up of being invited to gigs and clubnights 300+ miles away in England. I've asked them to stop, but they never do. They just send it to everyone. Wack. Skamikazee
I need to get to the Maryculter House hotel on Thursday by 1pm, no access to a car this week so it looks like I need to take a bus from the city centre. Anyone know which bus will get me closest to it/which stop I need to get off at/how long it will take roughly?
