Spoonie
I don't tbh. I just know that my bird is getting me my next tattoo and I'll be going there. I'm in Edinburgh so it's less of a hassle. I can give them a call and if needs be, take a day off and pop along. Probably worth giving them a call.

ca_gere
Can you go into a tattoo place with just a few vague ideas and get them to mock up some art work? Do they get pissed off if you are picky and get them to do another one? I'm thinking about getting one but i've never even set foot in a tattoo shop. Normally if you have a set idea they'll change it to make it look better or whatever anyway. It all depends on just how much input you want them to have. And they shouldn't mind if you're picky, it's with you for life. But some folk are too arsey and some tattoo artists won't handle arseyness well, I guess.

I've got a few 'themes' in mind though. I spose I'll just go in past and see what they say. Am thinking about this place: http://www.eastsideinktattoo.com/ mainly because it's where rhianna gets her tattoos done and I want to sniff the seat.Another question: If there are a bunch of artists, do you get to choose who you want to do it based on their previous work or are you given someone based on the type of tattoo you want?

No tattooist worth their salt would try something they weren't comfortable with anyway. My latest tattoo I only had the idea and the girl designed it from scratch, it's looking nice. Still red as it was only done last night...
ca_gere
My TV has two HDMI ports and I have 3 HDMI devices/cables. What are my options other than getting a new TV? Is there an adapter doohickey I can plug into an HDMI port that splits it into two so I can have all three devices plugged in at the same time? Noone should have to get up off their arse to actually unplug a cable nowadays surely...I ended up buying one of these, in case anyone was wonderinghttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812197007&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-NA-_-NAIt's got a remote and athing. Chris
You can get powered settop ariels that boost the signal without having to plug it into the rooftop one.

Always better with a rooftop aerial but you should receive some of the multiplexes on an indoor aerial. As Chris said a boosted (powered) aerial will be better in most cases up here but if you're very close to the transmitter or have a lot of exterior obstructions (being ground floor in a block of flats and other geographical obstacles for the signal) you may have issues. It is also nearly impossible to fine tune with an indoor aerial using a digital tuner becuase of the tuning process.

Moose
Jobs a good un, though i was watching Sky on Xbox on Saturday night and the picture was shite.Aye, that's my understanding. It will mostly be for playing games, so I'll probably survive. I don't watch much tv, just the sports and occassionally the movie channels. Its like stepping back in time when you enter that store. Only open 10-4 Tuesday-Saturday, I believe.
