Chris
I don't know much about guitars, but that is one fucken ugly piece of gear!I disagree, I think that looks lovely. I'm a sucker for a sunburst finish. Not too keen on the headstock though.
Bigsby
I don't know much about guitars, but that is one fucken ugly piece of gear!I'm with you on this one. I find most of these so-called Schecters that they are putting out these days horrible. But each to their own.
Huw
The new TC stuff looks smart. I'd have all of em! The tone print idea is pretty tidy too!
Lemonade
I picked this up in Bruce Millers on Wednesday. Horrible, horrible looking instrument, it should be burned at the stake for the headstock alone, but it's really nice to play, basically plays like an electric, and has a lovely bright sound. Soda Jerk
I didn't actually notice that. Dubya has a point. The worst bit about it is the pickguard. I don't mind the headstock at all. Does the neck feel more like an electric neck? I'd like an acoustic but I don't like those fat acoustic necks.

I'm all over that.Yeah it basically feels like a strat neck, it's really quite unusual. Much easier to play. There's another one in Bruce's, go in and try it out. Only cost 190 as well. Pierre Von Mondragon
Loads I want this year, all on the pedals n amp front.I want some chaotic osc fuzz that squeals when you adjust guitar controls, through electric trickery. Seen some vids, this or the Devi Ever Robot Devil maybe.Currently leading in the 'I could actually feasibly afford this thing' stakes. And an EHX deluxe Memory Boy, A POG of some sort, and a Korg Monotron should see me.Fuck knows if I'll get any of this. Soda Jerk
I want a Fuzz pedal, but I don't know what I want exactly. I've had a Big Muff and a Devi Ever Rocket, and neither really did it for me. Both seemed to be able to do very bassy or very trebley/velcro fuzz tones, but with not much middle ground. I'm all about big crunchy mids. Both pedals sounded good, but didn't quite offer that mid range presence that I'm used to. Something that crunches as well as fuzzes, like that riff in White Stripes' Icky Thump. It's fuzzy and crunchy. Any suggestions?
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Well, "Icky Thump" will be a Big Muff into a Fender Twin, as that's how Jack White rolls. Personally Joe, I don't think that yr really suited to fuzz, as I can't think of a fuzz box that has a mid range presence that yr after. A possible middle ground is an EH Metal Muff, which isn't really a fuzz, but I had one and it was beasting good (before it broke). Or just get a Fuzz Factory, everyone needs a Fuzz Factory in their lives.
Soda Jerk
You're probably right. I palm mute too much for a start. Fuzz no no!I've wanted a Fuzz Factory for a while, for the sheer stupidity than practicality. They are a bit on the pricey side though. One day... TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
It is possible to reign in the mental on a Fuzz Factory, but lack of a tone control does limit it's usability really. Check out some youtube clips of a Metal Muff, it was my distortion sound for 1864 in Art as well.
Soda Jerk
Metal Muff sounds insane. Demo I watched sounded good, but didn't realise the Distortion was all the way down. He cranked that and it went mental. Ossum.
